Laser Tag & Airtastic Ultimate Challenges coming soon to Lisburn!
Two brand new activities are coming soon to Airtastic Lisburn! Laser Tag and our new Ultimate Challenges will be the latest activities to be introduced at the centre, with our Battle for New York themed Laser Tag arena due to open on 19th October and the exciting new challenge rooms to follow on 23rd November. The current activities at the centre include ten pin bowling, an amusement arcade and the NY Urban Pizza restaurant.
Phase two of Airtastic Lisburn's development is currently underway, with the entire upstairs area of the centre getting a makeover. In addition to the new activity areas upstairs, we will also have five new party rooms that can be booked for children's birthday parties, and a café serving a wide selection of drinks and snacks including Smokin' Bean coffee, delicious traybakes and more. These new facilities will be open from 19th October alongside the new Laser Tag arena.
Our Battle for New York Laser Tag activity will be Lisburn’s only indoor Laser Tag arena, with an exciting New York post-apocalyptic theme. Play as individuals or part of a team as you join the fight against the rebels and regain control of the city that never sleeps. This highly competitive, fun new activity will have you hooked!
If you’re up for a challenge, you'll love our new Airtastic Ultimate Challenges - players can work as a team to navigate through 30 thrilling, innovate and high-tech challenge rooms which involve a combination of physical, mental and skill-based tasks. Airtastic Lisburn are proud to be the first centre to offer this ultimate challenge experience in the UK & Ireland, opening on Thursday, November 23rd!
These two new activities are part of a huge financial investment on the 20,000 sq. ft. of space on the first floor and will create a significant number of new jobs at Airtastic Lisburn.
Thomas Fegan, Business Operations Director for Airtastic Entertainment Centres said:
“We are very excited about these two new activities coming to Airtastic. We had hoped to be able to open both activities on the 19th October, but every major project encounters delays and unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we have had to push back the opening date for our ultimate challenges. We will announce an opening date for this activity as soon as we can and keep everyone updated on when booking will be available.
Nevertheless, we're still on track to open the upstairs area on 19th October, so customers can come and check out our Battle for New York Laser Tag arena, and the new Air Cafe will also be open along with 5 party rooms that customers can book for children's birthday parties, whether it's bowling or laser tag parties, there's still lots of exciting stuff coming! The upstairs space was a blank canvas just waiting for Airtastic to come in and we can't wait for everyone to see it when it's open - we think you'll be amazed!"
Airtastic Lisburn became the latest acquisition to join the Airtastic family, previously Lisburn Bowl, and opened in March 2023. The addition of these two new activities is the second phase of a two-phase transition plan going from Lisburn Bowl to Airtastic Lisburn.
Airtastic Lisburn is the brand’s sixth multi activity entertainment centre. The other five Airtastic Entertainment Centres are located in Bangor, Belfast (Newtownabbey), Craigavon, Cork and Kildare (Celbridge). Airtastic is now the largest leisure operator across Ireland, providing the best entertainment to a wide range of customers of all ages. Whether it’s for family fun, kids’ birthday parties, school or group trips, work functions, nights with dates or mates, or simply an excuse to celebrate the weekend – you name it, Airtastic Entertainment Centres will have it covered!
