Ultimate Challenges is suitable for those aged 6 and above. We do though feel our challenges are best suited to those aged 9 years and above for better understanding and game experience.

Children under 9 must have an accompanying adult also playing on the team!

Children under 12 years of age must have an accompanying adult on site at all times. Children are the responsibility of the supervising adult at all times.

We recommend light and comfortable clothing and shoes that allow freedom of movement and plenty of grip for the various activities!

Appropriate flat footwear must be worn. Runners/trainers are recommended. Please avoid any footwear that may become loose or expose any part of your foot e.g. flip flops, sandals or slip-ons.

We provide secure lockers at Ultimate Challenges that are free to use, so please make sure to lock up anything that could get in your way!

Please arrive 20 minutes before your session (30 minutes for a party) to get checked in and to watch the activity briefing.

We have options for 1 hour, 1.5 hour or 2 hour sessions!

For best game experience and the chance to get around all of the challenge rooms at least once, we recommend booking a 1.5 hour session. If you're feeling extra competitive, a 2 hour session will give you the opportunity to get around all of the challenge rooms and attempt multiple rooms more than once so you can keep playing until you get the highest scores!

Tip: Remember the goal is to achieve the highest overall score during your session, so more time means more challenges completed, and you can repeat some to get a better score.

Short answer - no!

We have 30 different challenges for you to try. Each tests your mental, physical and skill abilities.

Some will be more physically challenging than others but don't forget if the room doesn't suit you can always leave and try a different one!

You get to choose the difficulty level for each challenge! Our touch screens outside each challenge room show you the room instructions and then lets you pick the difficulty level - easy, medium or hard.

The difference between difficulty levels is displayed on the screen before you go in (i.e. points you can achieve or time you have in the room) to help you decide. The harder the difficulty level you choose, the more points there are up for grabs! You can even change difficulty levels from challenge to challenge.

Tip: If you played a challenge at a lower difficulty level, you can always play it again at a higher difficulty level to try and score more points! Only the highest score is recorded in each room no matter how many times you play, so be mindful of the time remaining in your session - it might be more time efficient to move on to another challenge room.

Step 1. Select your challenge room and read the instructions carefully. (Some may contain an extra tip on how to conquer the challenge!)

Step 2. Pick the difficulty level you would like to try - easy, medium or hard. (The higher the difficulty level, the more points you can earn!)

Step 3. Work as a team to complete the challenge. (The quicker you are the more points you will receive)

Step 4. Complete as many challenge rooms as you can within your session to build your score. (Remember only your best score in each room counts towards your team's total)

You can collect your scorecard for the entire session from reception when you are finished! This will give you all the details on how you scored in each challenge room.

It's way better - instead of looking for clues to escape, Ultimate Challenges has 30 different challenges for you to conquer. You'll face a mix of mental, physical, and skill-based games just like in the Crystal Maze tv show. For each room you conquer you'll be awarded points and at the end of the session the team with the most points are the Ultimate Champions!

You can play as many challenges as you like, in any order you want! You can repeat your favourites or try as many as you can.

Tip: Remember only one score from each challenge will go towards your total score, being your highest score.
