Air-tastic Entertainment Centre Lisburn is an exciting Ten Pin Bowling alley, Gaming arena, Laser, Ultimate Challenge Rooms and Licensed NY Diner. Air-tastic forms part of the leisure portfolio who also operate other leisure brands such as Funky Monkeys Children's soft play concept with multiple locations throughout the UK and Ireland.

Due to expansion our new leisure and entertainment concept will bring dynamic and fun facilities to the leisure market and offers a unique experience and will continue to look for opportunities to develop the concept while growing. It is an exciting and dynamic new venue for adults, teens and families which provides fun for all with anything from a round of Bowling , Laser Tag , Ultimate Challenges, birthday parties or corporate events.

Air-tastic have the ethos of creating a fun and inspiring customer experience. Customer service, safety and overall experience will take centre stage and therefore be the main emphasis for the team.

The Person

We are seeking an experienced supervisor who will be comfortable in supporting the management team with the responsibility of our leisure operation within our Entertainment Centre.

The Supervisor will have the ability to keep a cool head under pressure, and lead the team smoothly through any challenges that may arise throughout the day to day.

Knowledgeable and experience in leading from the front is helpful.

The supervisor will be able to assist the management team in training and developing the team to deliver consistently excellent service to the highest of standards

The Role - Main responsibilities

• The Supervisor will mainly be responsible for Bowling, Laser and Arcades. This will include an element of machine maintenance, and lane cleaning.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and inspire your team to deliver the same exceptional standards.
• Develop, train and coach a reliable team and motivate them to a level of competence, clarifying and delegating direct responsibility of their role throughout each day or week
• Manage upkeep and condition of all equipment and premises ensuring prompt remedial action as required.
• Ensure the correct and continual use of all company procedures, systems and documents.
• Maintain a safe and harmonious working and customer environment and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and health and safety.

Essential Criteria

• Significant solid 2 years+ management experience in a fast paced catering/retail/leisure/hospitality sector.
• Evidence of people management, training and development and on the job coaching and support.
• An approachable and enthusiastic manor and a can do attitude.
• Previous experience of working with extremely high standards in customer service, quality, hygiene and good knowledge of maintaining a focus on health and safety in the work place.
• Be confident in dealing with and had previous experience in dealing with performance management.
• Be fully flexible and prepared to take accountability of the uninterrupted opening hours of the business.
• Be fully committed, passionate, reliable and dynamic in fully engaging in our Company Ethos, and treating the business as your own.

• Due to the nature of the business the successful applicant will normally be required to work weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
